Our #1 ranked female Featherweight, Gabrielle Holloway (4-1), will be replacing the injured Talita Noguera and making her Bellator debut against Strikeforce and Invicta veteran Julia Budd (6-2) a short 10 days from today. Holloway just came off a win over Lacie Jackson at Rumble at Raxx on January 24th. This is a quick turn around, but when a big stage and big opponent opportunity arises, time doesn't seem to matter much.
We reached out to her to see how she's feeling about the opportunity:
"Honestly, I think I have gone through every emotion or feeling you can have. There is so much stuff to do in such a short amount of time."
When asked how she is dealing with the short time frame between now and the fight:
"It's stressful, but not because the fight is short notice, it's because I have to get all of these medicals and stuff done in short notice just to fight. The fight is the easy part."
Bellator 133, headlined by a Middleweight bout between Melvin Manhoef and Alexander Shlemenko, will take place 2/13/15 from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and will air live on Spike TV.
